Innovations play an important role in the competitiveness and economic success of companies. In the age of the knowledge society and advancing digitalisation, the innovation ability of companies is more than ever characterised by access to scientific and technological know-how.

However, small and medium-sized enterprises often have little or no resources to implement innovative ideas through an own research and development infrastructure to establish them on the market in the form of sustainable products. Thus, operational development partnerships or networking with universities and scientific institutions are an important factor in producing innovative products and services.

In the field of innovation and technology transfer we work closely with the Transferzentrum Elbe-Weser (TZEW) based in Stade. For the Elbe-Weser region and the administrative districts in northeastern Lower Saxony, the TZEW is responsible for the integration of companies, universities and research institutions as well as institutions of municipal economic development. For many years the TZEW has also been active as a service provider on behalf of the district of Heidekreis. So far, 100+ local companies have been able to receive free advice throughout the district, for example on technological issues, the introduction of a new product, the intermediation of external expertise or the optimization of internal workflows.

Funding Advisory Service

The Deltaland is located in the Heidekreis and thus part of the "D" area of the GRW Program in the current funding period (2021-2027) This opens up possibilities that are not available in the whole country.

As a one-stop agency, we are able to provide you with the right solution for your project. Thereby we fall back on close and long-standing contacts with various local and regional authorities. From the local municipal administration through the county to the Lower Saxony Ministry of Economic Affairs, and the  NBank, Investment and Development Bank of Lower-Saxony.
