The development of demand oriented industrial and commercial sites is a main focus of the Deltaland project. The direct access to the motorways BAB 7 and BAB 27 on the interchange Walsrode offers locational advantages for industrial producers, processing companies, suppliers and even North German and North European distribution centres.

According to this the advancement of the industrial and commercial sites “Industriegebiet Ost” in Bad Fallingbostel and “Große Schneede” on the BAB exit Walsrode-West is forced.

The area in the south of Walsrode is currently strategical sounded. The important questions are: Which development potentials exist in view of new street bounded sites? Which railway bounded synergy-potentials from the “Heath Railway” and the intended y-route in the triangle Hamburg-Hanover-Bremen can be made useful?
