As „Cellulosics Valley“ the Industrial Park Walsrode is place of the Dow Wolff Cellulosics main production facility, a traditional and international leading competence centre for innovative cellulosic derivates and related products of the renewable raw material cellulose.

The interaction of applied know-how and R&D competence in the Deltaland provides the basis for the development of high specialized products which fulfill important functions in markets like foodstuffs, constructions, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. Among other purposes, they serve to measure the dosage of effective ingredients in medicaments and to reduce the fat components in foodstuffs. When used in construction materials they result in better quality and improved efficacy.

In the context of the Deltaland project development potentials of the existing competences in cellulosics will be boosted.
